The Louisville Miniature Club, part of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (N.A.M.E.) is located in Louisville, Kentucky.

The club was founded in 1973 by Janette Hutchison. To garner interest in miniatures, Janette posted signs in grocery stores and other businesses throughout Louisville. The first meeting was attended by five women and two men. Four of these people had just attended the first N.A.M.E. banquet held in Louisville, in conjunction with a national doll show. On display at the banquet were three miniatures scenes - two which had been created by Janette and had won blue ribbons.

LMC is active in the community, putting on exhibits and programs that are open to the public, as well as a show and sale in October. Many members have received ribbons from the KY State Fair for their miniatures.

All scales are represented in our club - one inch, half scale, quarter scale, and micro-minis!

Regular meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 2 pm.

In addition to these business meetings, there are additional Unfinished Object Nights (UFO) that take place the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 2 pm. The first meeting is UFO and the 2nd meeting is a business meeting plus a project. We have at least one raffle every month, sometimes 2!

ALL MEETINGS take place at Beargrass Christian Church (4100 Shelbyville Road, Louisville KY 40207) in the Fellowship Hall.
